A plant-based almond drink, muscovado syrup, ice and espresso: with just four ingredients, the Almond Iced Latte is the ultimate refreshing drink, perfect for those hot summer days.
• 24 ml - Muscovado syrup (alternatively cane sugar)
• Double espresso
• Ice
• Almond drink
1. Put two doses of muscovado syrup into a vessel, or alternatively one sachet or one teaspoon of brown sugar
2. Into the same vessel dispense a double espresso from S15
3. Fill a glass with ice
4. Add the almond drink up to 2 cm from the rim of the glass
5. Stir the syrup and espresso so that they are well blended and the espresso cools down
6. Pour directly into the glass over ice
We recommend a Nicaragua Natural single-origin coffee (chocolate and almond notes) or an El Salvador single-origin coffee (hints of chocolate and caramel). Both origins produce a well-balanced coffee with a good body that can support the almond drink without being overpowered by it.
If the dispensing spout is motorised, remember to set the height of the spout so that you can directly dispense into the chosen espresso vessel. For example, set a “Tall Cup Espresso” recipe with the right spout height.
